The art of the brick

Amo el diseño y siempre me he maravillado lo que se puede lograr aplicándolo de la manera correcta tal es el caso de los pequeños bloquecitos de Lego que me parece uno de los inventos mas geniales que se han creado, no solo es un objeto de lo mas sencillo sino que te permite expresarte, imaginar, crear, y explorar tu creatividad al máximo sin importar la edad. Por que seamos honestos quien no ha tenido alguna vez uno de esto entre sus manos y ha sentido la necesidad de armar algo.

Navegando por la red me tope con Nathan Sawaya que es un artista de Nueva York que crea las esculturas mas impresionantes utilizando Legos. Nathan es tan bueno en lo que hace que ha tenido exposiciones en diferentes museos y galerías de Estados Unidos y no solo eso sino que sus esculturas cuestan miles de dólares, asi que Nathan es una prueba de que no necesitas grandes cosas o herramientas para tener éxito, simplemente tienes que encontrar que es lo que quieres hacer y hacerlo con pasión para llevarlo al máximo, después de todo quien iba a pensar que alguien podía hacerse millonario haciendo lo que todos hicimos alguna vez de niños, esculturas con Legos.

I love design and I am always surprise for  what can be achieved by applying it in the right way, as Lego blocks wich I think is one of the most brilliant inventions that have been created, is not only a simple object but let you express yourself, imagine, create, and explore your creativity to the maximum regardless the age. Because let's be honest who has not ever had one of this in his hands and felt the need to put something together.

Surfing the net I came across Nathan Sawaya, he is a New York artist who creates the most impressive sculptures using Legos. Nathan is so good at what he does... he has had exhibitions in museums and galleries in the U.S. and not only that but his sculptures are costing thousands of dollars, so Nathan is a real proof that you don´t need great things or tools to succeed, you simply have to find what you want to do and do it with passion and take it to the fullest, after all... who would have thought that anyone could become a millionaire doing what we as children play with once..... sculptures with Legos.
