Hitomi Hosono

Se que dirán que pareciera que estoy mas inclinada hacia el arte en mis últimos posts pero mas que al arte me siento inclinada hacia cosas que me asombran y es que es genial cuando ves algo que te quita el aliento y que fue creado por otro ser humano, no se ustedes pero a mi me parece genial y tal es el caso de Hitomi Hosono y su trabajo con la cerámica que me resulta alucinante.

I know that for you maybe it seems that I'm more inclined towards art lately for my latest posts but more than art I feel inclined towards things that amaze me and it is great when you see something that takes your breath away and this wonderful feeling was created by another human being , I don't know about you but for me it's great and such is the case of Hitomi Hosono and her work with pottery that I find amazing.

Cj Hendry es una artista de la cual ya les he hablado en otras ocasiones y que simplemente no deja de sorprenderme con su técnica, en otra ocasión les compartí su trabajo a lápiz en blanco y negro y en esta ocasión  aborda el color con lapices de colores, se que al ver las imágenes les costara mucho trabajo creerlo por eso es tan alucinante lo que hace. En esta ocasión les muestro su serie Colores complementarios.

Cj Hendry is an artist whom I have spoken to you on other occasions and who simply does not cease to amaze me with her technique, on another occasion I shared with you her work in black and white with only pencils and this time she tackles the color with colored pencils , I know that when you see the images it's hard to imagine that this is not a picture and that is just made by colored pencils, it's just amazing what she does. Estoy simplemente enamorada del trabajo de esta artista, es taaaan cute, algo cotidiano pero con una perspectiva diferente, cada una de sus piezas me hacen feliz. 

I'm just in love with the work of this artist, is sooo cute, something that looks so simple but with a new and different perspective, each one of her pieces makes me smile.

A Different Reality

Divagando y vagando por el internet me encontré con este trabajo que me pareció una propuesta interesante, aveces es mas de lo mismo pero el hecho de cambiar un material o los colores, quizás dar una perspectiva de una visión personal o una experimentación hace que de repente te sientas atrapado o atraído hacia algo, como me sucedió aquí en el trabajo de Lui Ferreyra y esta serie de retratos que simplemente me hacen ver los múltiples trazos de la realidad y que en este caso se muestra de una manera que parece simple y compleja a la vez, sin mencionar que amo los colores. 

Wandering across the internet I found this work wich I think is a very interesting proposal, sometimes it is more of the same but the fact of changing some material or some colors, maybe give a perspective of a personal vision or some sort of experiment makes that  suddenly you feel trapped or attracted to something, as I did here in the work of Lui Ferreyra and a series of portraits that just make me see the multiple lines of reality in this case is shown in a way that seems simple and complex at the same time, not to mention I love the colors.

La artista Jennifer Angus creo este papel tapiz pintando los muros y creando formas con insectos, dando así una imagen envolvente y hermosa al espacio, la artista busca reivindicar la imagen que solemos tener de los insectos creando algo hermoso con ellos. Creo que esta mas que logrado. ¿no creen?

I mean...Wow!

Estoy impresionada con el trabajo de la artista Lorraine Loots quien decidió ponerse un reto durante 365 días y hacer una mini pieza diaria. El nivel de detalle es abrumador y el hecho de que sean tan pequeñas las hace irresistibles. 

I am impressed with the work of the artist Lorraine Loots who decided to make a challenge for 365 days and do a  mini piece of watercolor paper every day for a year. The level of detail is overwhelming and the fact that they are so small makes them irresistible.

Sean Sullivan

El artista Sean Sullivan realizó este impresionante mural hecho con plumón sharpie negro, como consecuencia le tomo 7 meses de trabajo el poderlo terminar, es impresionante por muchas razones, una, lo hizo con sharpie, WTF?? osea muy muy impresionante en mi opinión y con tan solo ver las imágenes puedes ver la enorme cantidad de detalles que el trabajo tiene, lo que me gusta de este trabajo es que al menos a mi me hace pensar mucho, tanta línea me agobia honestamente, pero si me enfoco en cada línea una a una y cada detalle a la vez, cuando vuelvo a contemplar el trabajo de lejos, me asombra y siento que así es la vida o al menos la mía, de repente me agobio pensando en todo lo que viene, todo lo que tengo que hacer pero si me enfoco en dibujar una línea a la vez, puedo disfrutar mucho el proceso y eventualmente el resultado logra sorprenderme a mi misma. 

The artist Sean Sullivan made ​​this awesome mural done with black sharpie, as a result it took seven months of work on being able to finish it, it's awesome for many reasons, one, he did it with sharpie, WTF? I mean very very impressive in my opinion and just by looking at the images you can see the enormous amount of detail that this work has, what I like about this work is that at least to me makes me think a lot, so many  lines overwhelms me honestly, but if I focus on each line one by one and every detail at a time, when I walk away to contemplate the work one more time, amazes me and I feel like that's life or at least mine, sometimes I am suddenly overwhelmed thinking about everything that comes, and all I have to do but if I focus on drawing a line at a time, I can really enjoy the process and the result eventually manages to surprise myself.

The Amazing work of Brett Kern

El trabajo del artista Brett Kern es simplemente genial, divertido y ligeramente inesperado ya que estas piezas que parecen ser inflables en realidad son de cerámica, ¿que tan cool es esto? me dan felicidad solo de verlas, asumo que por alguna razón me llevan a mi niñez ¿ustedes que opinan?
