Cj Hendry es una artista de la cual ya les he hablado en otras ocasiones y que simplemente no deja de sorprenderme con su técnica, en otra ocasión les compartí su trabajo a lápiz en blanco y negro y en esta ocasión  aborda el color con lapices de colores, se que al ver las imágenes les costara mucho trabajo creerlo por eso es tan alucinante lo que hace. En esta ocasión les muestro su serie Colores complementarios.

Cj Hendry is an artist whom I have spoken to you on other occasions and who simply does not cease to amaze me with her technique, on another occasion I shared with you her work in black and white with only pencils and this time she tackles the color with colored pencils , I know that when you see the images it's hard to imagine that this is not a picture and that is just made by colored pencils, it's just amazing what she does. This time I show you her complementary colors serie.

A Different Reality

Divagando y vagando por el internet me encontré con este trabajo que me pareció una propuesta interesante, aveces es mas de lo mismo pero el hecho de cambiar un material o los colores, quizás dar una perspectiva de una visión personal o una experimentación hace que de repente te sientas atrapado o atraído hacia algo, como me sucedió aquí en el trabajo de Lui Ferreyra y esta serie de retratos que simplemente me hacen ver los múltiples trazos de la realidad y que en este caso se muestra de una manera que parece simple y compleja a la vez, sin mencionar que amo los colores. 

Wandering across the internet I found this work wich I think is a very interesting proposal, sometimes it is more of the same but the fact of changing some material or some colors, maybe give a perspective of a personal vision or some sort of experiment makes that  suddenly you feel trapped or attracted to something, as I did here in the work of Lui Ferreyra and a series of portraits that just make me see the multiple lines of reality in this case is shown in a way that seems simple and complex at the same time, not to mention I love the colors.

La artista Jennifer Angus creo este papel tapiz pintando los muros y creando formas con insectos, dando así una imagen envolvente y hermosa al espacio, la artista busca reivindicar la imagen que solemos tener de los insectos creando algo hermoso con ellos. Creo que esta mas que logrado. ¿no creen?

The artist Jennifer Angus create this wallpaper by painting the walls and creating shapes with bugs, giving us an envelope and beautiful space image, the artist seeks to vindicate the image we usually have of insects creating something beautiful with them. I think this is more than achieved. don't you believe?

Pimpineando los Letreros de los Homeless

Esto es exactamente lo que hacen los artistas Kenji Nakayama & Christopher Hope, como buenas diseñadoras que somos, creemos que la imagen es importante y este proyecto se me hace de lo mas interesante, sin duda volteas a ver a esta gente y la diferencia entre un letrero y otro es ¡enorme! en el blog de estos artistas puedes encontrar mas de su trabajo y un poco de las historias de cada una de estas personas. 

Pimp the homeless signs 

This is exactly what the artist Kenji Nakayama & Christopher Hope do, as the designers that we are, we believe the image is important and this project is so interesting because of that, certainly you turn to see these people once you see their signs and the difference between a sign and the pimped one is huge! there is a blog of these artists and you can find more of their work and some of the stories of  these people.

Origami takes the city

Lo que a mi en lo personal me gusta del arte urbano es la idea de claro que si voy paseando por mi recorrido habitual y ¡BUM! te topas con el de repente y no me digan que no pero altera la rutina, te alegra el día y hasta cambia tu actitud tiene un efecto muy chido, este origami lleno de color fue realizado por la artista francesa Mademoiselle Maurice.  

What I personally like from the street art is this idea of  being walking my usual route and BUM! you're suddenly faced with this piece and I feel that alters the routine, makes the day happier and can even change your attitude, has a really cool effect, this colorful origami was made by the French artist Mademoiselle Maurice.

Katharine Morling......

El trabajo de Katharine Morling consiste de una serie de objetos tridimensionales de trazos simples pero complejos a su vez, cuando te das cuenta que estas viendo un objeto tangible y con volumen además de obvio divertido de ver y experimentar.

 

Katharine Morling's work consists of a series of three-dimensional objects made of simple strokes but at the same time kind of complex when you realize you're seeing a tangible object with volume besides her work is obviously fun to see and experience.

Chuck Close......

Chuck close es un artista y fotógrafo americano, conocido por su foto realismo, en lo personal me gusta pensar en el como un impresionista-realista jajajaja aunque suene un poco extraño es la sensación que me produce su trabajo, el cual me resulta irresistible, primero por el gran formato y segundo por su técnica la cual considero provocadora, es como si dijera a ver... dime, observame bien, desciframe o algo así.

Tuve la oportunidad de ver algo de su trabajo cuando visite Nueva York y pues solo quería compartir un poco de esto con ustedes.

Chuck Close is an American artist and photographer who is known for his photo realism, personally I like to think of him as an realistic-impressionist even if it sounds a little crazy that is the feeling that have of his work, which I find irresistible, first by the large format and second for his provocative tecnique.

I had the opportunity to see some of his work when visiting New York and then I just wanted to share some of this with you.
