Emiliano Godoy

Este fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de tomar un taller bastante chido organizado por Mexicandesign acá en la ciudad de Monterrey e impartido por el bien conocido diseñador mexicano Emiliano Godoy, 

básicamente el taller consiste de una serie de herramientas para el diseñador empresario. 

En alguna ocasión mencione en otro post el trabajo de Godoy con colectivo NEL el cual me encanta. Pero en esta ocasión aprovecho para compartir algunas imágenes del taller y del trabajo de Godoy. 

This weekend I had the opportunity to take a workshop quite cool organized by Mexicandesign here in the city of Monterrey and taught by the well-known Mexican designer Emiliano Godoy 

basically the workshop consists of a series of tools for the entrepreneur designer. 

I already had mentioned in another post Godoy's work with collective NEL which I love. But this time I want to share some images from the workshop and the work of Godoy.

CRGS by Tadao Ando

Este viernes se presento el proyecto de tesis de nuestra hermana y aprovechamos para visitar el nuevo edificio CRGS de diseño (en la Universidad de Monterrey) el cual fue diseñado por el celebre Arquitecto Tadao Ando y la señalética diseñada por Pentagram preferimos tomar algunas fotos y compartirselas para que lo conozcan un poco también. 

This last Friday we went to see the presentation of the thesis project of our sister, was a good chance to visit the new building CRGS of design which was designed by the famous architect Tadao Ando and the signage designed by Pentagram we took some photos and we want to share them with you so you can see a bit about this great and beautiful building.

Diseño Mexicano......

Vik Servin es un diseñador mexicano con una propuesta por demás original. Me parece cool, divertido y tan mexicano que es imposible no sonreír al ver estos muebles, siento como si fuera un juguete y simplemente pienso..."quiero uno!!"

 

Vik Servin is a mexican designer with a very original design proposal. I think this furniture is cool, fun and soo mexican that is just imposible not to smile when you see them, makes me feel like a kid seeing a toy and saying..."I want one!!"

MiTOTEM es lo nuevo de Esrawe, este diseñador mexicano que es simplemente genial, Una estanteria que recuerda a un totem pero al mismo tiempo parece una escultura un tanto arquitectonica, me gusta, la forma, las lineas y el detalle de la impresion sobre la madera.

MiTOTEM is the new from Esrawe, this great and cool mexican designer, MiTOTEM it's a shelf that remind us a totem but at the same time looks like a sculpture, love the shape, the lines, and the detail in the wood.

Mexican Vibe.....

Bueno me encontré con esta diseñadora suuuuuper cool llamada Valentina Gonzalez Wohlers nacida en México pero radica en Londres, bueno su propuesta es divertida y muy mexicana, sabe ver la artesanía de nuestro pais y convertirlo en algo mas, yo en lo personal soy fanática de todo lo mexicano (no porque sea mexicana si no por que me encanta el arte nacional, los colores y la diversidad) bueno sin decir mas les muestro algo de su trabajo para que juzguen por ustedes mismos.

Well I found this young designer who is really cool, she is Valentina Gonzalez Wohlers born in Mexico but living in London, well.... her concept and her design is pure fun and very mexican, she knows how to see the traditional mexican arts and do something different with it, I'm a huge fan of everything mexican (not because I am but because I love the national art, the colors and the diversity) well I won't tell more, is better if you just judge by yourself.
