El maravilloso mundo de Kenzo

Kenzo es una de mis marcas predilectas del momento, son frescos, modernos y muy artísticos, por eso les comparto algo de su nueva campaña, que en mi opinión es bastante chida.

Kenzo is one of my favorite brands of the moment, they are fresh, modern and very artistic, so I share some of their new campaign, which in my opinion is quite cool.

Pimpineando los Letreros de los Homeless

Esto es exactamente lo que hacen los artistas Kenji Nakayama & Christopher Hope, como buenas diseñadoras que somos, creemos que la imagen es importante y este proyecto se me hace de lo mas interesante, sin duda volteas a ver a esta gente y la diferencia entre un letrero y otro es ¡enorme! en el blog de estos artistas puedes encontrar mas de su trabajo y un poco de las historias de cada una de estas personas. 

Pimp the homeless signs 

This is exactly what the artist Kenji Nakayama & Christopher Hope do, as the designers that we are, we believe the image is important and this project is so interesting because of that, certainly you turn to see these people once you see their signs and the difference between a sign and the pimped one is huge! there is a blog of these artists and you can find more of their work and some of the stories of  these people.

Llenando al mundo de flores

Debería de haber mas instalaciones como estas en el mundo, estas ubicadas en Sicilia son bastante impactantes, formatos de gran tamaño que recuerdan mucho a la cerámica italiana y ademas mezcladas con luces. 

There should be more intallations like this one in the world,  this one is located in Sicily and honestly  is quite impressive, the patterns in large formats that closely resemble Italian ceramics and mixed also with lights.

Es hora de darse la vuelta por Fundidora

A raíz del FORUM que tuvo lugar en Monterrey hace ya unos años pues quedaron varios espacios disponibles para exposiciones o actividades recreativas en fundidora, de vez en cuando es bueno darse la vuelta ya que las exposiciones están en constante cambio, y ademas esta la cineteca que quizás no es tan grande y no tenga una selección tan amplia pero tiene lo suyo, (como dato cultural todo el mes de julio los domingos al medio día estarán pasando películas de Ghibli sin costo alguno) y en esta ocasión nos dimos la vuelta por los 3 centros de las artes en donde hay 3 exposiciones diferentes, aunque íbamos con la intención de ver "Callegenera" que estará ahí un buen rato por que las otras dos no sabría decirles las fechas pero bueno, centro de las artes 2 y 3 fueron mis favoritas, la primera son objetos cotidianos vueltos algo mas, jugando con secuencia y acomodos distintos, nos demuestra que en lo cotidiano se puede encontrar el arte o algo que nos asombre y Callegenera se forma de piezas de artistas urbanos, todas a gran escala y algunas incluso interactivas, aquí les comparto a través de fotografías un poco de nuestro recorrido. 

A few years ago Monterrey had an event called FORUM and this left several spaces available for art exhibitions or recreational activities at Fundidora, from time to time it is good to turn around because the exhibitions are constantly changing, and besides it is the art cinema theater that perhaps is not as big as it could and does not have such a wide selection but has his thing going on, (as cultural information throughout the month of July at noon every Sunday some Ghibli films will be presented at no charge) and this time we turned around by the three arts centers where there are 3 different exhibitions, but went with the intention of seeing "Callegenera" who will be there for a while for the other two I could not tell the dates, the arts center 2 and 3 were my favorite, the first are everyday objects turned into something else, playing with different accommodations sequences that shows us that in everyday life objects can be found  art or something that will astonish and callegenera are  pieces of urban artists, all large-scale and some even interactive, here I share through pictures a little of our journey.
