Dilo Bonito

¡Me encanta esto! soy una fanática de decir la verdad y decir lo que se piensa, en lo personal estoy trabajando en una serie de piezas o cuadros que se llama "dilo bonito" y al ver esta imagen me hizo pensar totalmente en la idea con la que ya llevo un tiempo trabajando. ¿Ustedes que piensan?

I love this! I'm a fan of telling the truth and say what you think, personally I'm working on a series of pieces or paintings called "Dilo Bonito" (say it nice) and seeing this picture totally made ​​me think of the idea with which I've been working. What do you think?

My dirty Little secret

No se si ya lo había mencionado antes pero la verdad es que tengo una OBSESIÓN (asi es en mayúsculas) con la tipografía, no puedo evitar lo que me hace sentir ver una tipografía hermosamente hecha sin mencionar que quiero obtener todo lo que tenga alguna que me parezca interesante e incluso mi obsesión es tal que me tatué una palabra en la mano por esa razón.

Dentro de mi rara obsesión esta un gusto particular por la caligrafía (suena ñoño y anticuado lo sé) pero fuí la persona mas feliz del mundo cuando conseguí tomar un curso de caligrafía jaja.

La razón por la que cuento esto es por que quiero compartirles un proyecto que me encanta llamado Urban Calligraphy del diseñador griego Simon Silaidis que consiste en localizar lugares abandonados para crear obras de arte urbano a través de la caligrafía.

No se que opinen ustedes pero yo simplemente lo amo y espero algún día tener la suerte de toparme con una de sus obras.

I´m not sure if  I mentioned before but the truth is that I have an obsession with typography, I can not explain what I feel to see a beautifully made typography.

I want to get everything that has some typo on it  especially those that I find interesting and my obsession is such a big deal  that I have a word tattooed on my hand for that reason.
 
In my particular taste calligraphy is my favorite (sounds sappy and outdated I know) but I was the happiest person in the world when I got to take a calligraphy course haha.
 
The reason I tell you this is because I want to share a project that I love called Urban Calligraphy by a Greek designer Simon Silaidis consisting in locate abandoned places to create urban art through calligraphy.
I don't know what you think about it but I just love him and I hope someday be lucky enough to run into one of his pieces. 

A store I would like to visit.......

Esta tienda concepto ubicada en Dinamarca y llamada Playtype es bastante única y peculiar ya que se enfoca en productos que envuelvan de alguna manera tipografías, para los amantes de las letras (literal) como nosotros pues esta tienda parece super chida y atractiva, definitivamente un lugar que quiero visitar.

 

This concept store located in Denmark and call Playtype is quite unique and peculiar as it focuses on products that somehow involve fonts, for lovers of letters (literally) like us well this seems a really cool store, definitely a place I want to visit.

Sony Music celebró 125 años de historia musical cubriendo practicamente 150 metros cuadrados de pared dentro de sus oficinas y para esto contrato al artista londinense Alex Fowkes y aqui esta el increible resultado.

Arte Improvisado....

En un proyecto que recientemente hicimos, teníamos pensado trabajar con una pared colocando algo muy padre que surgió de nuestras mentes, cual va siendo nuestra sorpresa que pues por el presupuesto esto tendría que ser eliminado, que, que??? bueno pensamos calmadas y nos improvisamos un poco de arte con muy poco dinero y utilizando las sobras de madera del techo que hicimos para el lugar. 

In a recent project we did, we had planned to work with a wall putting something really cool, but... surprise, surprise, because of the budget was imposible to make and it had to be removed, whaaat??? we had to improvise a little art with very little money.

Re-utilizamos la madera sobrante del techo y compramos un poco de hilo en forma de cuerda y un pegamento muy fuerte. 

we decided to use the leftovers of wood that came from the ceiling that we just had made for the place, we bought some rope and some strong glue. 
 

Despues seleccionamos una tipografia y una palabra que nos sirviera de guia

After this we choose a typography and a worf to follow

Yvett comenzó a darle forma mientras yo acomodaba la madera en el muro

Tipografias.....

En realidad no se si muchos de ustedes lo saben pero nómada somos un studio de diseño donde juntamos tanto diseño gráfico como diseño interior y trabajamos ambas ramas por separado pero parte  nuestro propósito siempre ha sido crear espacios en conjunto como branding pero incluyendo mucho al diseño interior, siempre que sea posible porque en México es aun un concepto muy nuevo, poco conocido y como consecuencia poco utilizado, pero el otro día me encontré este lugar llamado SÓPESO restaurant, ubicado en Portugal y diseñado por P-06 Atelier y me gusto porque muestra un poco el diseño gráfico aplicado al diseño interior y siempre que veo cosas como esta me hacen muy feliz jajaja la tipografía y la manera en que la utilizaron me parece super cool, no nada mas al ahí se va, sino que chido.

 You know... nomada is a design studio based on Monterrey México, we basically dedicate our lives to graphic and interior design, we like to work each design as separate but our main gold is to work together, to mix them, we really like that..we don't do it so often, because in Mexico is still a concept that turns out to be quite new, so is rarely use but we hope that change with the future, the point is that I found this really cool place SÓPESO restaurant in Portugal designed by P-06 Atelier and I really liked because is graphic design applied to interior design, so to see this kind of places makes me really happy haha besides the typography look really cool don't you think?
