El cuarto de una Bebé

Pues después de la pintura comienzan a llegar los muebles, estamos restaurando algunos y otros serán nuevos, aun tenemos algunas ideas para los muros pero tendrán que esperar un poco para ver estos avances, el primer mueble es la cama para que podamos mantenerlo como recamara de visitas, teníamos este respaldo con postes un tanto clásico y decidimos pintarlo de blanco, agregar algunos cojines y poco a poco comienza a tomar forma.

After the finish with the painting some furniture begins to arrive, we are restoring some and others will be new, we still have some ideas for the walls but you will have to wait a bit to see these advances, the first piece of furniture is the bed because as you might remember the idea is that this space is also a guest bedroom. We already had this beautiful piece with posts a bit classic and we decided to paint it in white, add some cushions and little by little it begins to take shape.

También tenemos un sillón que vamos a restaurar tapizandolo con terciopelo. 

We also have this pretty sofa and we are going to change it with some velvet. 

Y ya tenemos un tapetito por aquí, cuna, cajonera y uno que otro detalle pero seguiremos trabajando para que se vea cada día un poco mejor. 

And we already have a carpet around here, a crib, a drawer and some other details but we'll keep working so that it looks a little better every day.

El cuarto de una Bebé

Con el piso puesto nuestro siguiente paso es la pintura, en realidad no queremos pintar toda la habitación, únicamente 2 muros y el resto dejarlo blanco, elegimos un tomo violeta grisáceo que no se si se alcanza a apreciar muy bien en las fotos pero prometo tomar unas mejores para que se aprecie más. 

With the floor installed, our next step is the painting, we do not really wanted to paint the entire room, only 2 walls and the rest leave it white, we chose a grayish violet so pretty! that I do not know if it can be appreciated very well in the photos but I promise to take some more and better so that you can appreciate it more.

Ya estando en el tema de la pintura aprovechamos para reciclar una lámpara vieja y existente, la pintamos toda de blanco con aerosol y sustituimos la pantalla por una de pottery barn kids super sencilla y super linda.

As I´m already talking about painting we decided to recycle an old and existing lamp, we painted it all of white with some spray paint and we replaced the screen by one of pottery barn kids super simple and super cute.

Carisimo Vs. Ganga

Una vez mas he logrado encontrar un par de objetos para ustedes en esta sección que como ya les había comentado cuando la empece, no es posible hacerla con tanta frecuencia porque no es fácil encontrar estos objetos pero bueno, una vez mas les traigo un candelabro, estos objetos me encantan porque son super útiles, aportan mucho estilo y si quieres usarlo solo como pieza decorativa sin velas también funciona la verdad. 

Nuestra pieza carísima es un candelabro diseñado por Mogens Lassen y que cuesta $135 dlls es decir un aprox de $2,584 pesos, Lassen es un arquitecto Danes y este hermoso candelabro viene nada mas ni nada menos que de los años 60's lo cual es fantástico porque es totalmente a temporal, es lo que siempre me maravilla del buen diseño, hoy en día podemos verlo como algo sumamente moderno y actual. Nuestra versión ganga no es literal a la pieza de Lassen pero si refleja el color y la forma geométrica que es parte de lo que hace a la pieza de Lassen tan iconica, la puedes encontrar en H&M home por $399 pesos. 

Once again I have managed to find a couple of objects for you in this section of Carisimo Vs. Ganga ( Expensive Vs. OMG what a good price) that as I had already mentioned when I started it, it is not possible to do it so often because it is not easy to find these objects, but well, once again I bring you a candle holder, I love these objects because they are very useful, they bring a lot of style and if you want to use it only as a decorative piece without candles, it also works.

Our most expensive piece is a candle holder designed by Mogens Lassen and it costs $135 dlls, Lassen is a Danish architect and this beautiful candle holder comes from the 60's which is fantastic and awesome, is what always amazes me of a good design, today we can see it as something very modern and current. Our bargain version is not literal to the Lassen piece but it does reflects the color and geometric shape that is part of what makes the Lassen piece so iconic, you can find it at H & M home for $20 dlls or so.

El cuarto de una Bebé

En el post anterior les compartí el estado actual de la habitación y lo primero que decidimos cambiar fue el piso porque el anterior era bastante feo, encontramos un piso de cerámica tipo madera con diseño que nos recuerda al estilo de los departamentos parisinos y con eso nos fuimos, primero les comparto el piso inspiración para que sepan de que estoy hablando.

In the previous post I shared with you the current state of this future nursery and the first thing we decided to change was the floor because the previous one was quite ugly, we found a wood type ceramic floor with design that reminds us of the style of the Parisian apartments and with that we went, first I share the floor inspiration, so that way you know what am I talking about.

El cuarto de una Bebé

Ahora toca el momento de compartirles el desarrollo de este proyecto y como ya es habitual este es el inicio, así es como encontramos el cuarto actualmente y la idea es transformarlo en un cuarto para bebé niña, aunque ademas debe funcionar como cuarto de visitas, lo cual puede ser un reto porque no tenemos mucho espacio pero haremos lo que se pueda. 

Les comparto a ver estas primeras imágenes y seguir poco a poco el desarrollo de esta habitación. 

Now is time to share with you the development of this new project and as usual first of all, this is the space as it actually is and the idea is to become this into a nursery for a baby girl but also must be functional as a guest bedroom, I know is going to be hard because we don't have that much of a space but will see.

Mis Favoritos de Zara Home

Llego una nueva temporada y con ella las rebajas y por lo mismo una nueva serie de productos que vale la pena considerar para tu hogar para proporcionarle un poco de estilo, ustedes ya saben que para mi la idea de rodearte de cosas bonitas aunque suene muy banal puede cambiar tu experiencia del día a día, tu cotidianidad, un pequeño detalle puede hacerte feliz por que eso es lo que sucede cuando te rodeas de cosas lindas, simplemente piensa en la ropa y en como te sientes cuando tu atuendo funciona o cuando no funciona, algo similar sucede con la decoración de tu casa y como quiero hacer de esta sección una tradición pues les comparto por segunda ocasión mis favoritos de Zara en rebajas. 

A  new season has arrived and with it the sales, therefore a new series of products worth considering for your home to provide a little style and happiness, you already know that for me the idea of surrounding you with nice and pretty things even if it sounds very banal can change your daily experience, your daily life, a small detail can make you happy because that's what happens when you surround yourself with cute things, just think about the clothes and how you feel when your look works or when it does not work , something very similar happens with the decoration of your house and as you know I want to make this section a tradition that's why I share for the second time my favorites of Zara on sale.

1. Lámpara // Lamp 

Esta lámpara cuesta $1,299 pesos, es ideal para dar un toque extra de luz a cualquier espacio y además sirve como elemento decorativo y la combinación con el cristal la hace muy elegante y versátil. 

This lamp is ideal for an extra touch of light and also as a decor element and honestly the combination with the cristal makes it so elegant and easy to match with almost any style. 

2. Jarrón // Vase

Este jarrón me encanta y cuesta solo $299 pesos, es sencillo y es ideal para colocar como pieza en algún librero o repisas, no todo tiene que tener una función en si, aveces la función es simplemente que aporte altura y contraste y  por lo mismo mayor interés visual. 

I love this vase, is so simple and ideal for a bookcase or for some shelf, not everything needs to have a function in your house, sometimes the function is just to give some height or contrast. 

3. Tapete Redondo // Round Rug 

Este tapete cuesta $2,199 pesos y mide 1.50m de diámetro es perfecta si tu casa tiene este aire relajado y un poco bohemio, también funciona muy bien para el cuarto de alguna niña o adolescente o quizas en exterior, en alguna terraza techada, me encanta la textura y el diseño. 

This rug is perfect if you have a relax and bohemian style at your home, also works really good in a girls bedroom or maybe outdoor, at some terrace with a roof, I love the texture and the design. 

4. Porta Vasos // Cup Holders 

 Son demasiado lindos como para no considerarlos, este juego de 4 porta vasos en forma de monstera cuesta $129 pesos y son perfectos para darle un toque diferente a cualquier reunión o simplemente para usarlos en casa. 

These cup holders are just too cute so I must consider them, they have the shape of a monstera and are perfect for any reunion or simply use them at home.

5. Juego de Baño // Bathroom set  

Este juego de baño cuesta $237 pesos en total, cada pieza cuesta $79 pesos y aveces son cosas en las que algunos no piensan en gastar pero ya sea para un baño de visitas o para tu propio baño siempre es bueno tener un juego lindo y que haga lucir un poco mas tu espacio. 

Some people don't think too much about buying this kind of things but I belive is really good if you can have little details like these, that make your space more special or different. 

6. Farolillo // Lantern 

Creo que siempre pongo una de estas y es que me encantan y obsesionan un poco, esta cuesta $399 pesos y no me cansare de decirlo son perfectas, para terrazas, balcones o cualquier zona de exterior a la que quieras dar vida, lo ideal es que uses mas de una. 

I think I always recomend this kind of thing but is just that I love them, I won't be tired of saying this but they are so perfect for terraces or balconies or any exterior zone that you want to highlight and remember, the ideal is to use more than one. 

7. Taza // Mug 

Esta taza cuesta $79 pesos y me gusta por que tiene un estilo y aire de las tazas de cerámica hechas a mano que esta tan de moda hoy en día, los colores son muy serenos y pacíficos que es fácil imaginar una escena a su alrededor. 

 I like this mug because it has a style and air of handmade ceramic mugs that are so trendy right now, the colors are very serene and peaceful that it is easy to imagine a scene around it.

8. Manta // Blanket 

Ya me conocen, una manta es indispensable para mi y podría tener mil, tenerlas en un sillón o alguna silla cuando el clima comienza a refrescar es tan agradable, acogedor y ademas aporta un super estilo y esta manta cuesta $379 pesos. 

You know me, a blanket is crucial for me and I could have like a thousand, have them on the sofa or at some chair when the weather starts to be fresh again is so nice and cozy aaand also gives a lot of style. 

9. Cojín // Cushion

Hay mil opciones de cojines pero el diseño de este me gusto con un patrón en puntos y en tonos blanco y negro, es fácil de combinar con colores mas intensos. La funda de este cojín cuesta $199 pesos. 

There are a lot of cushions options but I really liked this one, a nice pattern in black and white that makes it so easy to match with some intense colors.
